The Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) said it would come up with a memorandum for President Marcos to address the concerns of telecommunications and towers companies, particularly in energizing the country's telco towers. ManilaBulletin
ARTA Secretary Ernesto Perez said this following ARTA's telco workshop with representatives of major telco companies such as GLOBE, PLDT, Converge, and DITO, and telco towers in the country.
Through a Bayanihan initiative, ARTA gathered the country's telecommunications and major tower companies last week in a bid to fast-track the process of energizing telecommunication towers In the Philippines. "The market now is too big and we need to collate the recommendations to improve the current state of the energization of telco towers," he added.
"The success of what has been done to the permitting stage can be replicated with the effort of ARTA and the President so that we could see sites coming on the air much faster; connectivity gets much faster, providing much better services, and all of these creates more efficiency in the industry," he said.
