An arrest warrant was issued for Pennsylvania Democratic state Rep. Kevin Boyle.
state Rep. Kevin Boyle, according to multiple reports, with the Democratic lawmaker having been in trouble with the law previously.
“We can confirm an arrest warrant has been issued for violating a PFA. However, the specifics of the PFA we cannot get into,” the spokesperson said.State House Majority Leader Matt Bradford issued a statement on state Rep. Kevin Boyle , who is reportedly being arrested for violating a protection from abuse order involving his ex-wife.
His colleagues expressed concern for the representative, with some expressing hope that he would receive help. “I love Kevin, but I have serious concerns about his mental health and it breaks my heart to see him this way. I hope he gets the help he needs,” Democratic House Majority Leader Matt Bradford
The arrest warrant isn’t the first time Boyle has faced trouble with the law. In 2021, he was arrested and charged with harassment and violation of a protection from abuse order his wife had filed. The Pennsylvania Democrat’s attorney, R. Emmett Madden,“It is important to note that Kevin Boyle is not accused of any act of violence. By agreement with the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, Kevin is scheduled for a mental health evaluation,” Madden said.
