Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin joined Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders and other members of her administration today to discuss Chinese-state-owned land in Craighead County that they say is a threat to the state.
The press conference occurred in Little Rock Tuesday as Attorney General Griffin announced that he is ordering the divestment of 160 acres of Chinese-state-owned land in Craighead County.
“Syngenta owns 160 acres in Northeast Arkansas, which it primarily uses for seed research. The company that owns Syngenta, ChemChina is also on the Department of Defense list of Chinese military companies posing a clear threat to our state,” Governor Sanders said.
