SENTENCED: An Arizona woman who pleaded guilty to murder in the starvation death of her 6-year-old son was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole on Thursday.
on March 2, 2020, and said she thought her grandson was dead. The manner of death later was listed as homicide.
The boys’ confinement was punishment for stealing food while the parents slept, police said. Their two sisters were found healthy in the apartment where they all lived.
