The Arizona Senate on Wednesday approved lifting the constitutional spending cap on public schools for the current school year.
Howard Fischer PHOENIX — Arizona lawmakers have approved a spending plan that keeps the state's public schools from making huge cute or even shutting down.
That vote, following action Tuesday by the House, ensures that schools will not have to cut 17% from their annual current budgets within the next four months.
