MANILA, Philippines: The city government of Antipolo will close some roads on March 28 and 29 for the annual Alay Lakad activities.
Mayor Casimiro 'Jun' Ynares III said that the road closures will take effect from 6 p.m. on March 28 to 6 a.m. on March 29.To be closed are Tikling to Shopwise; J.P. Rizal St.; P. Oliveros St.; M. L. Quezon St.; Carigma St.; San Jose St.; C. Lawis St.; Masangkay St.; Bonifacio St.; Dela Paz St.; Daang Bakal Rd.; and Marigman and Cabrera Rd.A traffic rerouting scheme will be implemented.
Those coming from Poblacion, Antipolo and nearby areas going to the Marcos Highway and vice versa are advised to take the following roads: Circumferential Road; Sumulong Highway and Olalia Road .Light vehicles from Teresa going to Manila should use M.L. Quezon Ext. then proceed to Mahabang Parang, Angono and Binangonan; and Sapang Buho for those going to Angono and Binangonan.The Olalia Rd.
