Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh is tracking another beautiful spring afternoon with temperatures in the low 80s.
Wednesday is when a cold front moves in from the west. It’s the same storm system that produced severe storms and possible tornadoes in north Texas, and could threaten several communities in Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama.
Tomorrow will bring the threat for a few strong storms in the afternoon and evening. Showers linger into Thursday as well. Mike says NE Florida is well above average rainfall for March, with more than 7 inches of rain at JAX Airport, more than double our average for the month.We are tracking the potential for a few strong storms Wednesday afternoon.
