An 'annoyed' Harvard University student appeared on Fox News to complain about the 'empty activism' of climate change protesters who he said ruined the Harvard-Yale football game.
Colby joked that Harvard and Yale are not Southeastern Conference schools before going into his primary complaint:"we don't have many big football games."
"I have to say, most people were pretty nonplussed, the protest was pretty poorly planned, most of my friends were just irked, pretty annoyed that they got their time taken away from them. But our biggest takeaway was this was just another empty activist thing that liberals tend to do on big days," Colby continued.the overarching reason for the protest to,"Our education is funded at times by Puerto Rican debt, the fossil fuel industry and private prisons.
Local news outlets reported that police arrested two-dozen of the protesters, but that didn't curb Colby's complaints Monday morning on"They pick our favorite day, and then they do whatever they want with it. I have to say, it's really quite annoying. I don't think the protest accomplished much," the Harvard student said.
"[The schools will] probably cut financial aid to students and things to students who really need that money," Fox News co-host Steve Doocy suggested.
