“T.G.I.S.” just turned 29!Lead star Angelu De Leon got fans nostalgic as she commemorated the milestone with a throwback photo on Instagram.The actress shared a photo with her castmates Bobby Andrews, Raven Villanueva, Onemig Bondoc, Red Sternberg, and Michael John Flores all wearing “T.G.I.S.” shirts.“29! G.I.S.,” a coming-of-age afternoon series, premiered on GMA Network on August 12, 1995. The successful show had more than 200 episodes and the film “T.G.I.S.: The Movie” premiered in 1997. The show also turned Angelu and Bobby into a popular loveteam.Angelu is one of the cast members of “Pulang Araw.” She plays Carmela, the wife of vaudeville actor and theater owner Julio Borromeo . She is the mother of Teresita and treats Adelina poorly.
