The Los Angeles Angels made the decision to go all in at the trade deadline, but things have gone quite the opposite than they had hoped since then.

To make matters worse, they’ve dropped seven games back of the Toronto Blue Jays for the final wild-card spot in the American League. Instead, Los Angeles chose to go out and try to bring in some help in order to make one final playoff push as the Angels’ window to win a title could be closing if Ohtani leaves.

Ironically, the Angels haven’t won a game since before the deadline back on July 31 when they beat the Atlanta Braves 4-1, which was their only win of the three-game set with Atlanta.
