Here’s where the candidates stand on some of the biggest issues facing the city.
Alaska Public Media and the Anchorage Daily News collaborated on a candidate comparison guide for the 2023 municipal election for Anchorage Assembly and Anchorage School Board seats. The questions were generated with input from Anchorage voters. The tool allows voters to compare candidates side-by-side on specific questions and issues. We edited the candidate answers lightly for things like punctuation and spelling but otherwise let their responses stand. We think it’s important for voters to see the full responses in order to make their own judgments on how to cast their ballots.
