Sen. Cory Booker , who has backed Medicare for All, said Democratic feuding over health care serves only to benefit Mr. Trump.
Instead, candidates struggled in the short allotted time frames to explain their health policies as challengers criticized them for either not being bold enough or for going too far in uprooting the current system. She said her Medicare for All plan would mean employers no longer dictate the plans their employees get. It’s misleading to suggest that employees only want what their employers want for them, she said.
