People often talk about the highs and lows of a playoff hockey series, and the Amerks are coming off one of the highest of highs, overcoming a three-goal third-period deficit to keep their season alive Saturday night. Head coach Seth Appert said he let his team enjoy that victory for a couple of extra hours, but they were back to work Monday."You have to reset, because it's just one game," said Amerks winger Mason Jobst. "You got to move on and win the next one. That's been the message this week so far, especially coming off — for me — one of the craziest games of my life."
"It's back to business," added Amerks defenseman Ethan Prow. "We know that we can't sit on a palace. It's a game 5, and we're lucky it's here at home, and we get our crowd, so we can build on the things that we can." The past three games in this series all went to overtime. Jobst said he expects Game 5 to go to overtime as well.Prow added that playing in a winner-take-all postseason hockey game with a home crowd behind him is what he dreamed about as a kid.
