When it launches in February, it will be the only direct flight available from the Tijuana airport to any U.S. destination, for now
American Airlines announced a new nonstop service between Tijuana and Phoenix starting February 2024.
“Tijuana will become the 26th destination for American Airlines in Mexico, highlighting our 80-year commitment with the country, our local team of over 1,200 people and with our clients,” he added on a statement. The Tijuana international Airport has direct connections with more than 40 destinations in Mexico. In addition, passengers who arrive to the airport from or to the U.S. can use the pedestrian sky bridge Cross Border Xpress to cross the U.S.-Mexico border.
