As the search for Elijah Vue continues, his mother and her boyfriend are accused of neglect.
A Wisconsin toddler remains missing three months after an Amber Alert was issued as the child's mother and her boyfriend are facing child neglect charges.Elijah Vue, 3, was last seen on February 20 in Two Rivers while staying with his mother's boyfriend, 39-year-old Jesse Vang. When Vang took a nap and woke up three hours later around 11 a.m., the child was gone.Vang's apartment is located on the 3900 block of Mishicot Road.
The arrangement was intended to be like a 'boot camp,' Vang told officials. He said the child was scared of him at one point but now he respected him.Vang told police he made the child stand or two to three hours without sitting as a punishment and he would threaten him with cold showers. Vang drank three beers and took a muscle relaxant the night before Vue disappeared.Newsweek reached out to the Two Rivers Police Department for more information.
