AMADOR Leaño Tolentino, Sr., a retired Master Teacher 2 of Pinili, Ilocos Norte, died in his hometown on Monday. He
Tolentino, who taught for 28 years at the Pugaoan-Bungro Elementary School in Pinili until his retirement in 1990, left behind the former Serafina Blanco Zafaralla, his college classmate and wife of 63 years.
They have five children: Jocelyn ; Maria Victoria [husband Bruce Metcalf]; Eduardo [wife Grace], an engineer based in Carcar City, Cebu; Amador Jr. [wife Beng Salomon, an AVP at BPI Makati], lawyer and senior partner of the Law Firm Tolentino Corvera Macasaet and Reig in Metro Manila; and Leilani, president of Amasera Holdings Inc.Tolentino Sr.
Serafina herself is a retired Head teacher III and an active officer of the Senior Citizens Organization of their hometown while her husband spent his retirement years supervising their Pinili farm.Mass.
