The inclusion in the DJSI is based on Allianz's performance in the 2024 S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA), where the company garnered an exceptional score of 89 out of 100. This impressive result places Allianz among the leading sustainable insurers globally.
'The CSA score and DJSI membership serve as a powerful validation of the extensive work we've undertaken across all facets of our operations,' stated Emilia Macarie, Allianz's chief sustainability officer. 'It further motivates us to continuously refine our strategies and strive for even greater improvements in our sustainability performance.'In the Philippines, Allianz PNB Life has prioritized community investment as a cornerstone of its operations. In 2024, the company forged a significant partnership with Scholars of Sustenance Food Rescue PH to combat hunger and minimize the environmental footprint associated with food waste. This collaboration yielded remarkable results, rescuing 732,280kg of food and preventing 441,111kg of CO2 emissions. The initiative successfully delivered meals to 115 communities, making a tangible difference in the lives of many. Furthermore, Allianz PNB Life's partnership with the Moran Foundation has spearheaded advancements in financial literacy. Through engaging Futsal programs, the company has reached 480 students and 120 teachers, equipping them with valuable financial knowledge and skills.
