Jeremy Moussa threw an 8-yard touchdown pass to Xavier Smith to give the Rattlers a 7-0 lead after one quarter. Wide receiver Isaiah Scott answered with a 37-yard scoring strike to Kisean Johnson and Alabama State pulled even at halftime. Moussa answered with 4:20 left to play, finding Jah’Marae Sheread for a 17-yard touchdown and the Rattlers led 15-14 after a failed 2-point conversion pass.
