Search for Alabama corrections official Vicky White and escaped inmate Casey Cole WhiteLauderdale County Sheriff Rick Singleton is warning law enforcement about escapee Casey Cole White, saying the accused murderer is to be considered armed and “extremely dangerous.”
Singleton announced Monday a felony arrest warrant has been issued for Lauderdale County corrections officer Vicky White in connection with the inmate’s escape. Singleton said he believed Casey White’s escape was “orchestrated,” and Vicky White played a role in the escape. “Obviously, she’s been in corrections for 17 years so she has knowledge general citizen would not have. That certainly played in her favor for getting her out jail like she did,” Singleton said.
Singleton said he is “committed to getting Casey White back in custody where he belongs,” but warned law enforcement the accused murderer should be considered extremely dangerous. “I want to emphasize as much as I can we’re concerned about everybody but there’s going to be some law enforcement officers somewhere in this country or in this state that’s going to come across this guy, and I can’t emphasize enough to our brothers and sisters in blue - don’t take any chances with this guy. He’s dangerous. If you encounter this guy you need to know he is dangerous. Don’t take any chances with this guy.
