Alabamians are preparing to cast their ballots in the Super Tuesday primary election.

) - In less than a day Alabama voters will go to the polls to cast their ballots in the Super Tuesday primary election.Voters will chose from candidates vying for an array of offices -- including this year’s presidential race. In that race on the Democratic side, Alabama voters will see incumbent President Joe Biden and Rep. Dean Phillips. And on the Republican side, voters will see the two candidates still in the running, former President Donald Trump and former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley.

GOP ballots will also include the names of Republican candidates who have dropped out of the presidential race. Those candidates who have dropped out but will still appear on the GOP ballot are businessman and pastor Ryan Binkley, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy and author David Stuckenberg.posted by Alabama secretary of state’s office.

There is a unique situation on the district 1 U.S. House of Representatives race, with two incumbent candidates: Jerry Carl and Barry Moore. Rep. Carl is the representative for the current first congressional district, which includes all of Mobile and Baldwin counties. Rep. Moore’s current district covers the original second district. But a new re-districting map ordered by the Supreme Court moved Moore’s home county from the second to the first district.

On the Democratic side, several candidates are running for the house seat in the second congressional district. They are James Averhart, Napoleon Bracy, Merika Coleman, Anthony Daniels and Shomari Figures. Running for the U.S. House second district seat on the Republican side are Greg Albritton, Dick Brewbaker, Caroleene Dobson and Karla DuPriest.In the Alabama Supreme Court chief justice race, Sarah Stewart and Bryan Taylor are facing off for the Republican vote.

Voters will also cast ballots in other key races, including associate justice of the Supreme Court, Court of Criminal Appeals, Public Service Commission and the Alabama Board of EducationPolls open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday. If a primary runoff election is necessary in any of the races, that election will happen on April 16.
