Footage on Al Jazeera Arabic reportedly showed veteran reporter Wael Al-Dahdouh holding the bodies of his slain loved ones at a hospital.
Al Jazeera reported Wednesday that the wife, daughter, and son of network reporter Wael Al-Dahdouh were killed by an Israeli airstrike on a building in which they’d been seeking refuge.
Al-Dahdouh reportedly received the news of their deaths as he reported on a separate Israeli airstrike in Central Gaza. In a statement, he said his family had fled their home in the northern Gaza Strip following Israel’s order to evacuate and were staying in the Nuseirat refugee camp.
