AKRON, Ohio - An Akron dad pleaded guilty Monday in connection with the death of his six-year-old son in May 2023.
William Huston pleaded guilty to the charges of involuntary manslaughter, endangering children, and possession of a fentanyl-related compound.The boy’s mother, Emmalee Huston, pleaded guilty last month to involuntary manslaughter and was sentenced to three-to-four and a half years in prison.According to police, officers were called out to a home in the 700 block of Moraine Avenue for an unresponsive child.
Emmalee called 911 and told the dispatcher, “My son isn’t really responding at all, his lips are really purple. It’s really freaking me out. I thought he was just taking a nap.
