Cleveland Building and Construction Trades Council leader Dave Wondolowski is not being reappointed to the Cuyahoga County Port Authority Board following his controversial statements toward appointing authority Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb.
Dave Wondolowski, executive secretary of the Cleveland Building and Construction Trades Council, stands with now-11th Congressional District Representative Shontel Brown and former Ohio Attorney General Rich Cordray, who was recently named Chief Operating Officer of Federal Student Aid for the U.S. Department of Education.
Wondolowski joined the board in 2018, where he’s served as vice chair of one of the region’s most powerful agencies, given Cleveland’s prominence on the Great Lakes.
