On the same pitch that Max Scherzer allowed Houston’s 13th homer of the three-game series Wednesday, outfielder Adolis García left the game after trying to make a leaping grab at the wall. The Rangers later said García was dealing with right knee discomfort.
The ball just got out of the park, but when García landed, his right knee appeared to buckle upon impact with the ground.García slowly got up and was attended to by athletic trainer Matt Lucero before slowly walking off the field. García was helped down the stairs by Lucero and coach Tony Beasley. He was replaced in right field by Robbie Grossman.
