Meteorologist Chris Sowers says temperatures climb into the 70s Saturday, but we're also tracking some morning rain and late day t-storms.
SATURDAY: It's a wet start to the day with periods of rain and even a rumble of thunder during the morning. Once that clears, there will be a period of sunshine during the mid to late afternoon. During this time, temperatures climb into the mid 70s bringing us our first 70 degree day of the year. As temperatures warm, winds pick up gusting 40-50mph.
The warm temperatures may give just enough instability for a round of thunderstorms with a cold front between 6pm-9pm. Any thunderstorm could produce locally damaging wind gusts.MONDAY: Partly sunny, and turning warmer, high 69.WEDNESDAY: Mostly cloudy, warm and breezy with a few showers and even a thunderstorm possible, high 75.FRIDAY: Partly sunny, but not as warm, high 59.
