ADGM's Financial Services Regulatory Authority "is not proposing to establish a formal regulatory framework for NFTs" at the moment, the paper released Monday said.
"At this stage, the way we're trying to do it is to gradually bring them into our ecosystem," Emmanuel Givanakis, the free zone's CEO, told CoinDesk. The regulator started looking at NFTs at least six months ago, Givanakis said. The paper is open for comment until May 20, and"quite a number of firms" have already indicated that they're interested in replying, O'Brien said.
