As head of the Department of the Interior and Local Government and chair of the National Police Commission , Abalos exercises supervision over the 227,000-strong police force. “We will give them all the intelligence reports, all of the evidence that we have. It is all for them to decide,” Abalos explained.
“If there is a need to release the names in the interest of transparency, then we need to wait for the process to be completed. We don’t want to jump into conclusions and release them in haste,” she said.
