It’s a story of destiny. Or, for the Cobb family: Kismet.
Retha Cobb is hopeful for a full recovery. She would likely be dead if not for Kismet Litze's persistence.DOTHAN, Ala. - It’s a story of destiny. Or, for the Cobb family: “Kismet.”
”When she saw the dog, she immediately said ‘She is my kismet. She is my destiny.’ We didn’t think much of it, except if it hadn’t been for the dog, we would not have been alerted to mom’s condition,” said Cobb’s daughter, Aimee Cobb Smith. Retha Cobb’s pain was more than a headache. It was a brain bleed and injury that doctors believe may have been from a stroke caused by her fall.
But coming out of that second surgery, hopes are high and the family is optimistic about Retha’s recovery -- all thanks to the love and alert of a furry friend.
