Texas architect Milton Ryan was a Frank Lloyd Wright protégée renowned for designing sleek and snazzy mid-century churches, including San Antonio's University Presbyterian.

Ryan also left his stamp on plenty of mid-century homes in the Alamo City, including this stylish and high-ceilinged Terrell Hills residence listed a week ago for $995,000. The structure features clean lines, an open floor plan and abundance of large windows to welcome in natural light — all trademarks of Wright's distinctive design approach.
