As if the privilege of checking out books indefinitely for free wasn’t enough, California’s public libraries in April began offering another perk: a free day-use parking pass to most California State Parks' historic sites include Robert Mills Dairy Barn in Burleigh H. Murray Ranch State Park near Half Moon Bay.There is some fine print to the program: More than 200 state parks, beaches and other sites are covered by the pass, but ones under federal or local operation are not, such as Angel Island State Park and San Bruno Mountain State Park.
