Police say a man she stayed at a hotel with on Sunday night was killed in a head on collision they believe 'was a deliberate act'.

Police said Reddy last made contact with her family at around 11am on Sunday when she told them she planned to head home after a late breakfast. Following an appeal for information to the community, Reddy's grey Volkswagen Golf was located parked on Strachan Street, Kingsford, about 9.30pm on Tuesday night."During a search of the vehicle, police located Preethi’s body in a suitcase," police said."She had been stabbed numerous times."
The man died in a head-on collision on the New England Highway about 10pm on Monday night, police said.
