Southern Californians planning outdoor Thanksgiving feasts this week will want to hold onto their table cloths and paper plates as unusually strong winds, along with warmer temperatures, are likely to show up for the holiday.
The San Bernardino and Santa Ana mountains will also see heavy winds of up 40 to 45 mph. In Los Angeles County, gusts of 30 to 40 mph will make their way over the mountain and foothill areas. For holiday travelers, Gregoria warned drivers to be mindful when driving through areas with heavy gusts.
