It’s a phrase that he feels sums up the way his son, Ryan Booker, interacted with friends, with family, with everyone in his life. He was loved, said Nosal, and it was easy to love him.a police-involved shooting on the highway near Belle Plaine early Sunday morning, which ended fatally, according to a release from the Saskatchewan RCMP.
“I want them to remember the fun-loving spirit he had, and how he would give to anybody,” said Nosal, in an interview Monday.Booker was an outdoorsman at heart, said his father. Someone who could enjoy days away from the bustle of the city, trekking through prairie grasslands and brush during hunting season, or flicking a fish hook into a sparkling lake with high hopes for a bite.“Hunting and fishing were the love of his life. That, and his family,” he added.
“He was flipping motors out of cars at 16 years old, it just blows me away, because I don’t have those kinds of skills.” “If somebody asked him to fix their car, anyone in the family, it was, ‘yup, can you come here at this time?’ and it was a done deal,” said Nosal. “He’d give you the shirt off his back.”jpg
