THE Commission on Elections is all set for the first part of the series of presidential debates for Halalan 2022 which will be held this Saturday night at the Sofitel Hotel in Pasay City.Comelec spokesman James Jimenez said earlier in the day that all presidential bets, except for presidential frontrunner Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr., have committed to attend the debate, which will be livestreamed starting at 7 p.m.on the official Comelec web page and social media platforms.
Emmanuel 'Manny' Pacquiao and Vice President Maria Leonor 'Leni' Robredo .According to Jimenez, the topics of discussion would center on the pandemic and economy.He added that there would be a poll of 20 questions sourced from various election stakeholders, including netizens.'We have a poll of 20 questions but we don't expect that all of them will be taken up. This is not a questionnaire type of debate.
