An 85-year-old Lehi man who told officers he was “frustrated” with his wife admitted he brutally beat and strangled her to death, according to police.
The husband was also “covered in blood,” according to a probable cause statement, and made an “excited utterance” that he had killed her,” according to police. And as the suspect was being loaded into an ambulance, he saw members of the victim’s family and “yelled to them” that he had killed his wife.
