Notorious dacoits killed in Sadiqabad during a police encounter, marking the end of a series of violent crimes in the area.
Two notorious dacoits were killed in a police encounter which took place in Chowk Shahbazpur area of Sadiqabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
After seeing the police, the dacoits opened indiscriminate firing on them. During exchange of severe firing two dacoits namely Naseer alias Mela Lathani and Tariq Jhakrani were killed on the spot. Police recovered also Kalashnikov, pistols, and huge quantity of bullets from their custody while other dacoits were fled away by taking advantage of darkness in the nearby sugar fields.
The police team also used bullet-proof vehicles and latest weapons while Elite Force commandos also extended support to the police team.
