KARACHI: The Sindh High Court(SHC) has issued an order to not count the votes of three reserved seats in the presidential election.

However, today the SHC issued a written order in the case of not giving reserved seats to the Sunni Ittehad Council in the Sindh Assembly. The court order states that in the presidential election, the court does not want to interfere in the process of voting by the members of the Sindh Assembly in favor of their favorite candidate, however, these three votes of the Sindh Assembly should not be considered as decisive votes. Until the final decision of the application is made.According to the order, Advocate General Sindh has objected to the admissibility of the petition.
On the other hand, the Lahore High Court has issued a notice to the parties on the petition against not getting reserved seats to the Sunni Ittehad Council and called for a reply, further hearing has been adjourned till March 13.
