KARACHI: The Sindh Cabinet on Thursday approved collection of property tax from cantonment areas of the province.

A cabinet meeting was held under the chairmanship of Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah in which some important decisions were taken including collection of property tax from the cantonment areas.

In the cabinet meeting, approval was also given to introduce joint Sindh Business One Stop Shop of 16 different departments in the province. He said that the facility of online payment, tracking, SMS, e-mail and e-certificate will be available through the Sindh Business One Stop Shop application, while the laws will be amended to bring e-licensing portal.On this occasion, the Sindh Chief Minister said that the builder who dumps the debris along the roads will be compensated by the SSP of the area.
