Shoaib Malik, the former captain of Pakistan’s cricket team, has called for tactical adjustments in the team’s batting and bowling strategies
after their series defeat to England.
“Tough series! Remember: we’ve been in tough spots before & came out stronger,” Malik posted on Twitter. “IMO Babar should bat at no 03! We need someone in the middle overs to rotate strike, you are our best option, with your guidance our middle order will do a lot better,” Malik continued in his tweet.
Malik’s advice aims to uplift the team’s spirit and confidence following their 2-0 series loss to England, as they approach the T20 World Cup.
