The renewal of their National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis can now be done at the NADRA counter within Pakistan embassy in Riyadh.
The Interior Ministry has announced a new service to aid overseas Pakistanis residing in Saudi Arabia: the renewal of their National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis can now be done at the NADRA counter within the Pakistan embassy in Riyadh.
This embassy hosts a fully operational NADRA office, offering a wide array of services including NICOP, CNIC, CRC, FRC, and Biometric Verification of Succession Certificate. For convenience, a NADRA mobile registration team will be available on May 24 and 25, from 8 am to 4 pm Saudi Arabia time. NICOP, a specialized identity card for Pakistanis living abroad, enables visa-free travel to Pakistan for individuals holding dual nationality with a country that shares an agreement with Pakistan. To initiate passport renewal, Pakistani citizens are advised to bring along their old cards and a copy of their passport when visiting the embassy.
In a related development, the National Database and Registration Authority has recently launched an ‘All-in-One’ digital identity kit. This innovative device integrates state-of-the-art biometric authentication features, marking a significant leap in digital identity management.
