Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi held a detailed meeting with a visiting Chinese delegation headed by Chinese Minister for Political and Law Affairs Chen Mengguo in Islamabad on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.It was decided during the meeting that mutual cooperation will be enhanced in anti-terrorism, cross-border and anti-narcotics measures.
The participants of the meeting decided that Gilgit-Baltistan police personnel will get training from Xinjiang Police Academy. Both sides agreed that terrorism is a global challenge and it should be dealt by adopting effective measures. During the meeting Mohsin Naqvi said that Xinjiang province of China is playing vital role to strengthen friendly ties between the two countries. He further said that CPEC is also passing through Xinjiang province.
