The domestic international season for 2024-25 is set to commence with Bangladesh taking on Pakistan in two Tests, the first in Rawalpindi followed by the second in Karachi .
Bangladesh’s skipper, Najmul Hossain Shanto, shared his anticipation: “As a team we are looking forward to returning to Pakistan for the ICC World Test Championship. Playing in Pakistan is always a challenging but an exciting prospect, and we will have to be at our very best to compete against a formidable home side in their backyard.”
The forthcoming series marks Jason Gillespie’s debut as the head coach of Pakistan’s Test squad following his appointment in April.
