LAHORE - Pakistan Railways has announced 25 percent reduction in the fare s as a special package for the commuters on the occasion of Eidul Azha .
According to the Pakistan Railways, this discount will be available on all types of trains and classes. However, the discount will not be applicable on Eid Special trains. Meanwhile, in a bid to enhance travel convenience during the festive Eidul Azha season, Pakistan Railways has unveiled its schedule for three special trains. These trains are poised to facilitate passengers, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free journey.
The first of these special trains is set to depart from Karachi, embarking on a journey to Peshawar on June 14 at 6:30 PM. This train exclusively offers economy class coaches, catering to the diverse travel needs of passengers. Following closely, the second special train will depart from Karachi as well, this time heading towards Lahore on June 15 at 9:30 PM. Unlike the first, this train features a mix of business, standard, and economy class coaches, providing passengers with a range of travel options to suit their preferences.
