Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-Ul-Haq Kakar has said the government is committed to steer Pakistan out of these challenging and difficult times. In an interview with BBC, he said the laws of the country are there to guide, help and enable us to do the right thing. The Prime Minister said the upcoming Elections will be free and fair and all indicators of transparent elections will be achieved. He said PTI as a political party is not barred from participating in the elections. PM Kakar said the one who broke the law; His fate will be decided by the courts. He said we should allow the courts to do their job. The Prime Minister said Pakistan lost 90 thousand individuals in war against terror. He said Pakistan military is doing a fantastic task of dealing with terrorism. The Prime Minister said the country is facing a challenge of renewed terror attacks. He said TTP is operating from across the border. He said we have to prioritize, there are so many wrongs with Pakistani economy. We have cracked down on illegal trade of currency to stabilize rupee. The Prime Minister said the government is taken action against hoarding to control inflation. The government will go for the privatization of state owned entities. He said privatization of Steel Mill, PIA and power transmission companies is on the cards.
