Peshawar: Peshawar High Court on Thursday approved transition bail of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Ameen Gandapur in the liquor and arms recovery case.
Chief Minister KP Ali Ameen Gandapur approach the PHC over the arrest warrant issued by a local court in Islamabad in the liquor and arms recovery case. Alam Khan advocate filed a petition seeking transitional bail of the CM KP while the CM KP insisted to hear the case today. The bail petition was filed this morning wherein the provincial chief executive requested the high court to grant transitory bail so that he could appear in the relevant court in the said case.
A day earlier, Civil Judge Shaista Khan Kundi ordered the Barakahu station house officer to arrest Gandapur and produce him before the court noting that the case had been called thrice since morning and the suspect still had not shown up.
