Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Wednesday inaugurated Lahore’s 7.5 kilometers long Controlled Access Corridor Bund Road and Ravi Bridge expansion projects, whose foundation stone had been laid by former Punjab CM Syed Mohsin Naqvi, but which were completed after inordinate delay, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The chief minister, on the occasion, also ordered further expansion of the Bund Road’s service lane in order to facilitate the movement of people residing in adjoining localities. Briefing CM Maryam on the projects, DG LDA Tahir Farooq and Chief Engineer Israr Saeed said that the drain on the side of the Bund Road had also been repaired.
