The regional office of the Commission on Elections (Comelec 11) and the Police Regional Office (PRO 11) identified eight barangays in the Davao Region under the yellow category and considered as areas of concern for the upcoming Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan polls (BSKE) slated on October 30, 20
Comelec 11 and PRO 11 also said some barangays in Davao City may also be added under the said category.
Major Catherine Dela Rey, spokesperson of PRO 11, on Wednesday said they cannot give details yet until the list is finalized. During the AFP PNP Press Corps media briefing at the Royal Mandaya Hotel on Wednesday, lawyer Gay Eñumerables, officer-in-charge of Comelec 11, said “madagdagan pa ang list.” She also said that in Davao Region there are 9,558 cluster precincts and 28,000 members of the electoral board.
