A man died and his wife became ill due to possible carbon monoxide poisoning on Thursday morning, according to the York County Coroner’s Office.
Police were called around 9:30 a.m. to the 200 block of Kralltown Road, Washington Township, for possible carbon monoxide poisoning, the coroner’s office said. A 79-year-old man was found dead at the home, and his wife was found alive but sick, according to the coroner’s office. The office does not release the condition of surviving people, but she was taken to a local hospital.
The cause of death is pending the results of routine toxicology tests. The coroner’s office expects to release the man’s name on Friday.
