Senator says PML-N supremo eligible after amendment to Elections Act
Former federal law minister Azam Nazeer Tarar has claimed that after the Supreme Court's observation, former premier Nawaz Sharif’s disqualification has ended.Reacting to the implications of the order on the political future of Nawaz Sharif, he said that after amendment to the Elections Act, the appeal under the Practice and Procedure law was not so important.
“Nawaz Sharif is now eligible after the amendment to the Elections Act regarding disqualification,” the former law minister remarked.
