The Eid is celebrated in the Middle East following Saudi Arabia. However, the festivity is dampened this year amid Israel’s war on Hamas in Gaza where more than 37,000 Palestinians have been killed. Eid prayers were said in various cities in the occupied Gaza in makeshift camps without sacrificing animals.The UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Kuwait, Iraq and other Arab states marked the festival on Sunday.
